Brent Plisch, who has been with UWPD since 2005, was appointed as interim chief. He previously served as a U.S. Army captain and was a platoon leader, assistant operations officer and battalion staff officer. He was stationed at Fort Carson, Colo. and completed a tour in Iraq.
